Tallow is, in my opinion, one of the most versatile products on a homestead. I cook with it almost daily, as well as use it to make our tallow based products.
For best shelf life, keep sealed in a cool, dark place. While tallow is shelf-stable and does not require refrigeration, cold storage can extend the shelf life well past the 1-year standard.
As no preservative is used, please ensure hands are clean and dry before digging in.
