The Wandering Goat Co. was started in my kitchen as a 28 year old nurse who was struggling with infertility.

As someone who faced many medical issues growing up and was in and out of hospitals my whole life, I had my fair share of medical treatments throughout the years which eventually lead up to a Bone Marrow Transplant in 2016. This was the last medical option available for me with the blood disorder that I had.

Long term side effects from the transplant had lead to constant headaches with unknown cause. This is when I set on a health journey to heal my body with the power of nature and the plants it provides.

We all know that we are exposing ourselves to increasing amounts of toxins in our modern day environment, many of which are damaging our overall health and taking a toll on our bodies each and every day.

The herbal teas have brought many benefits including helping keep my daily headaches at bay and some days even non-existent. Tallow was an added bonus that was discovered along the way that has provided so many benefits to my skin as well as a peace of mind knowing what I was putting onto my body.

I look forward to sharing not only the things that I love but also brings me so much joy to make and share with friends and family!

Our Tallow products are made from locally raised Wagyu beef. Wagyu beef contains 300 times more monounsaturated fats than regular beef. The fatty acids include omega-6 & omega-3's and oleic acid (an omega-9 fatty acid), which are considered healthy for the skin. Wagyu also contains conjugated linoleic acid, which has anti-inflammatory properties and can help improve skin elasticity.

Our tallow products are stored in amber glass jars with metal lids. This helps protect the product from harmful UV rays, eliminates the changes of contamination from microplastics, helps prevent leakage, and can be reused multiple times and are 100% recyclable.

Our herbal tea blends are sold in aluminum foil lined pouches which extends shelf life by shielding contents from moisture, oxygen, and light. The pouches are water resistant once sealed and are eco friendly by being highly recyclable.
